Deep Tissue

Deep Tissue Massage involves applying firm pressure and slow strokes to reach deeper layers of muscle and facia (the connective tissue surrounding muscles). It’s used for chronic aches and pain and contracted areas such as a stiff neck and upper back, low back pain, leg muscle tightness, and sore shoulders.

Swedish

The most common type of massage is Swedish massage. It involves soft, long, kneading strokes, as well as light, rhythmic, tapping strokes, on the topmost layers of muscles. This is also combined with movement of the joints by relieving muscle tension, Swedish therapy can be both relaxing and energizing.

Hot Stone Massage

The therapist places warmed stones on certain areas of the body, such as acupressure points. The stones may be used as a massage tools or be temporarily left in place. Along with other massage techniques, hot stones can be quite soothing and relaxing as they transmit heat deep into the body.

Mom to be

 Massage therapy during pregnancy is a wonderful complementary choice for prenatal care. It is a healthy way to reduce stress and promote overall wellness. Massage relieves many of the normal discomforts experienced during pregnancy, such as backaches, stiff neck, leg cramps, headaches and edema (or swelling)

Reflexology

Reflexology is a form of bodywork that involves applying pressure to the hands and feet to produce changes in pain and other benefits elsewhere in the body. There are certain points or ‘reflex areas’ on the feet and hands that are connected energetically to specific organs and body parts through energy channels in the body. By applying pressure to reflex areas, a reflexologist is said to remove energy blockages and promote health in the related body area.

Aromatherapy uses aromatic essential oils medicinally to improve the health of the body, mind, and spirit. It enhances both physical and emotional health.

Choose between:

Refresh: Eucalyptus and peppermint essential oils are energizing and relieve stress.

Relief: Sweet almond, jojoba, grapeseed and Arnica essential oils for sore and stiff muscles.

Relax: Lavender, peppermint and marjoram essential oils for relaxation.

Immersing your feet in a tub of warm water with mineral salts is a nice way to relax after a long day. A foot soak soothes your muscles, hydrates your skin, and can relieve aches and pains due to standing for hours or walking in uncomfortable shoes.
